In a way you could say that I am part of a growth team now localized in an emerging market, although we don&#039;t look at this from the same perspective. I am not of the opinion that its either Glocalization or Reverse Innovation that is the key strategy, but a balance that is defined by the internal stage of the multinational organization as well as the specific product category one is involved in. Sourcing, economies of scale and logistics all play a part, and for me, coordination is still the key word here when it comes down to implementing and feeding the strategy at the end of the day. Many teams, many geographies. So from my point of view, Glocalization is still going on strong, with some tweaking.

Great to think back to the Thunderbird days though!
